Our Musical Theatre program is designed for students who love to sing, dance, and act—and want to bring all three elements together on stage. With classes for every age and experience level, performers will gain confidence, creativity, and the joy of storytelling through movement, music, and character.
Musical Theatre Foundations
Ages 5–12 | 45 minutes | Weekdays | Instructor: Dr. Julie

Perfect for our youngest performers, this class introduces students to the magic of musical theatre in a fun and supportive environment. Guided by the talented Dr. Julie Snyder, students learn to tell stories through movement, music, song, and dialogue while building confidence, creativity, and stage presence.

In each class, performers will:
-
Explore acting, singing, dance, and character development
-
Learn how to bring characters to life and interact with fellow performers
-
Build skills in storytelling, stage movement, and teamwork
-
Express themselves in an inclusive, and encouraging space

Throughout the season, students will work together on a mini-production—moving from script to blocking, staging, and choreography—culminating in a polished performance at our annual Spring Recital.
This is the perfect opportunity for children to grow their confidence, develop creativity, and discover the joy of performing on stage.

In each class, students will:

Throughout the season, students create a more sophisticated mini-production, moving through the process of blocking, staging, and choreography. Their hard work comes together in a polished performance at our annual Spring Recital, giving them the chance to shine with confidence and artistry.
