Ms. Finley

MindBodyArt Faculty Member • Dance Educator • Early Childhood Educator • Performer • Mentor

Originally from Hanover, Pennsylvania, Ms. Finley began her dance journey at just three years old. Dance quickly became a lifelong passion, providing her with a foundation in discipline, confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Throughout her years of training, she has continued to grow as both a performer and an artist—experiences that now shape the way she approaches teaching and mentoring young dancers.

Ms. Finley is entering her senior year at Penn State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Her passion for working with children has been a central part of her life, and she has gained hands-on experience in early childhood classrooms, preschools, dance studios, youth programs, and childcare settings. These experiences have strengthened her ability to create positive and engaging environments where children feel supported, included, confident, and excited to learn.

In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Ms. Finley is a three-time competitor in the Miss Pennsylvania Scholarship Competition, placing in the Top 5 all three years. She proudly performs dance as her talent, allowing her to continue sharing her love of movement and performance on a competitive stage. Her experiences in both dance and pageantry have strengthened her confidence, communication skills, stage presence, and ability to connect with an audience while inspiring her to encourage young people to confidently pursue their own passions.

At MindBodyArt, Ms. Finley has worked with students through our Bridge to the Arts After-School Program and Musical Theatre Summer Camps. She loves creating a fun and welcoming environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves, trying new things, and building confidence. Whether she is helping a student master a new skill, encouraging them to step outside their comfort zone, or simply being a positive role model they can look up to, Ms. Finley strives to make every child feel seen, supported, and celebrated.

Ms. Finley is thrilled to continue growing with the MindBodyArt community and to combine two of her greatest passions—dance and education. She hopes to inspire her students not only to become stronger dancers and performers, but also to grow into confident, kind, creative, and enthusiastic individuals who are proud of who they are.
