Tap, Hip Hop & Shining Stars Instructor | MindBodyArt Faculty

Ms. Deseray is stepping into her 3rd season with MindBodyArt, bringing her passion and energy to our Tap, Hip Hop, and Shining Stars classes. A native of Hershey, Pennsylvania, Deseray has been dancing since the age of six, training in a wide range of styles including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Street Jazz, and Baton. Her love for performing has taken her from local parades to the Harrisburg Capital Steps’ Capital Kickline, and even to the National American Miss Beauty pageant, where she earned first runner-up in the talent portion.

Throughout high school, Ms. Deseray honed her craft through the Quest Intensive and trained in New York City at Broadway Dance Center. She also began sharing her knowledge as an assistant for younger Hip Hop classes, sparking her passion for teaching. In 2018, she officially began her teaching journey at her home studio, instructing students of all ages in Hip Hop and Tap. By 2022, she was choreographing for competition teams, where her first large group routine earned 1st overall and multiple judges’ awards—earning her recognition as an award-winning choreographer.

At MindBodyArt, Ms. Deseray now inspires young dancers in Tap, Hip Hop, and Shining Star classes with her energy, expertise, and encouragement. She is certified in Progressive Ballet Technique and Acrobatic Arts, and you might even spot her French Bulldog, Chubbs, “tapping” around the studio! Her passions include performing, choreographing, teaching, and modeling, and she loves sharing her knowledge of dance to inspire the next generation to keep moving, growing, and shining on the dance floor.
