Ms. Gillian began her dance training at the Performing Arts School of Central Pennsylvania under the direction of Andrea Hill and Rebecca Maciejczyk. During her time at the school, she performed various corps, demi-soloist, and soloist roles in ballets such as Coppélia, Cinderella, and The Nutcracker. In 2017, she was awarded a full scholarship from the U.S. Department of State to attend the Bolshoi Ballet Academy Summer Intensive in both New York City and Moscow, Russia, where she studied ballet as well as the Russian language.
Ms. Gillian went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance with a minor in History from Butler University. While at Butler, she performed in Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, and George Balanchine’s Serenade, as well as excerpts from Paquita and Le Corsaire.
In addition to her performance career, Ms. Gillian has a passion for research, with particular focus on the arts and poliorcetics. She is PBT Certified and is excited to be entering her second year with MindBodyArt, where she brings her artistry, discipline, and love for ballet to inspire the next generation of dancers.
