Sydney Kozora
After-School Program Specialist | Competitive Dancer | Kinesiology Student | Community Volunteer
Ms. Sydney Kozora is entering her second year with MindBodyArt and is excited to be part of the After School Program this season. A lifelong dancer, she trained competitively at Star Styled Dance Center under the direction of Liz Brady-Marcinko and Bethany Schimonsky, as well as with Kwang-Suk Choi at the Pittsburgh Ballet House. In high school, she was a dedicated member of the Poms Squad her freshman and sophomore years, followed by the Seneca Valley Senior High School Dance Team during her junior and senior years.
Currently, Ms. Sydney is a proud member of Volé Dance Company at Penn State University, where she has also served on the Current Events Committee for the past two years. She recently studied abroad in Copenhagen, an experience that deepened her passion for learning, and she continues to pursue research with her professor. She is on track to graduate in May 2026 with a degree in Kinesiology and plans to attend Physical Therapy school. This past summer, she gained hands-on experience through an internship at Air Physical Therapy in Ellwood City, PA.
Beyond dance and academics, Ms. Sydney gives back to her community each summer by volunteering with the Miracle League of Western PA, a program close to her heart. She is looking forward to building meaningful connections with the after-school students at MindBodyArt and hopes to inspire them not only through dance, but also by encouraging involvement in their community and THON.
