Ballet Program

Our ballet program provides a strong technical foundation while fostering grace, strength, and artistry. Classes are structured to develop proper technique, body alignment, and performance skills, supporting growth from beginner through advanced levels.

 

Level 1 (Beginner/Intermediate)
Perfect for students with limited to no prior experience (0–3 years), this class introduces fundamental ballet terminology and technique. Students focus on barre work, floor exercises, and across-the-floor combinations, learning proper body alignment and placement at the barre as well as in centre floor work.

 

Level 2 (Intermediate)
Designed for students ages 9+ with at least one year of previous ballet training, this class emphasizes refining technique and performing more intricate ballet movements. Students work on increased speed, complexity, and performance quality, building confidence and skill as they progress.

Pre-Pointe / Pointe
Available by inquiry only. These classes are tailored for dancers preparing to begin pointe work or continuing their pointe training under close instructor guidance. Please call the studio for more information and placement.

Ballroom Kids

Ballroom Kids

Introduce your child to the elegance, rhythm, and fun of ballroom dance! Our Ballroom Kids program is designed for children ages 7 and up, teaching foundational ballroom steps and partner skills in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

  • Instructors guide students in person, ensuring proper technique, posture, and confidence.

  • Students explore classic ballroom dances including Waltz, Cha Cha, Swing, Rumba, Tango, and more.

  • Each class focuses on rhythm, coordination, teamwork, and performance, helping children grow physically and socially.

  • Lessons are designed to be interactive and enjoyable, inspiring a lifelong love of dance.

Broadway Jazz Dance 

Broadway Jazz combines the technical foundation of jazz dance with theatrical performance and storytelling, bringing the excitement of the stage to the studio. Students learn choreography inspired by musical theatre, focusing on sharp technique, rhythm, expression, and stage presence. This style encourages dancers to connect with character, emotion, and storytelling while developing confidence and performance skills.

Contemporary dance combines elements of ballet, modern, and lyrical dance to create a style that is expressive, fluid, and versatile. Students focus on technique, body awareness, flexibility, and emotional expression while exploring creative movement and storytelling through choreography. Contemporary encourages dancers to connect deeply with the music and movement, developing artistry, strength, and individuality.


For dancers with at least one year of prior dance training, this class builds on foundational skills with more complex combinations, transitions, and performance techniques. Emphasis is placed on musicality, expression, and artistry, helping dancers refine their technique and explore creative movement in more challenging choreography.

Hip Hop Dance

Hip hop dance is a high-energy, rhythm-driven style that emphasizes creativity, musicality, and individual expression. Students learn foundational movements, grooves, isolations, and dynamic combinations while developing coordination, strength, and performance confidence. Hip hop encourages dancers to explore their personal style and bring energy and attitude to the stage or studio.

 

Level 1 (Beginner/Intermediate)
Designed for dancers in their first few years of training, this class focuses on foundational hip hop technique, rhythm, coordination, and performance skills while learning grooves, basic steps, and choreography in a fun, supportive environment.

 

Level 2 (Intermediate/Advanced)
For dancers with at least one year of prior dance training, this class develops more complex combinations, isolations, and performance techniques. Emphasis is placed on musicality, stage presence, and personal style, with opportunities to explore freestyle, choreography, and more challenging hip hop concepts.

Jazz

Jazz Dance
Jazz dance is a high-energy, dynamic style that blends precision, rhythm, and performance flair. Students develop strong technique, coordination, and musicality while learning combinations that include turns, leaps, kicks, and stylized movements. Jazz dance encourages versatility and confidence, allowing dancers to express personality and creativity both on stage and in the studio.

 

Level 1 (Beginner/Foundational)
This class introduces dancers to basic jazz technique, rhythm, and performance skills. Focus is on building strong foundational movement, flexibility, and coordination, while having fun exploring the energy and style of jazz.

 

Level 2 (Intermediate)
For dancers with at least one year of prior dance training, this class builds on foundational skills with more challenging combinations, turns, leaps, and performance techniques. Emphasis is placed on musicality, stage presence, and personal expression within jazz choreography.

Lyrical Dance

Lyrical dance blends ballet, jazz, and modern techniques to create a style that is both expressive and technically challenging. Students learn to interpret music and convey emotion through fluid, storytelling movement. Because lyrical is rooted in strong technical foundations, dancers must also be enrolled in a Ballet and/or Jazz class.

 

Level 1 (Beginner/Foundational)
This class introduces dancers to lyrical technique, musicality, emotional expression, and performance skills at an age-appropriate level.

 

Level 2 (Intermediate)
For dancers ages 9+ with at least one year of prior Ballet or Jazz training, this class deepens technical development while emphasizing artistry and performance. Dancers work on more complex combinations, musical interpretation, and emotional connection to movement.

POM Dance

POM Dance

Pom Dance Program

Pom dance is a high-energy, performance-focused style that combines jazz, hip hop, sharp movements, and stage presence—think the excitement of college sideline and competitive pom teams. Students develop technique, coordination, musicality, and confidence while learning fun, dynamic routines designed for performance.

 

POM Ages 6–9
This class is designed for younger dancers in their first years of Pom training. Students focus on basic pom technique, precise movements, rhythm, and performance skills, learning age-appropriate choreography that builds confidence and stage presence.

POM Ages 10–13
For older dancers in their first year of Pom training, this class emphasizes fundamental technique, sharpness, and performance quality, helping students develop coordination, rhythm, and stage presence while learning fun and energetic choreography.

Tap Dance Program

Tap dance is a fun, high-energy style that combines rhythm, precision, and creativity. Students learn to make their feet an instrument, developing coordination, timing, and musicality while exploring a variety of tap steps and patterns.

Level 1 (Beginner/Intermediate)
Designed for students in their first years of training, this class focuses on tap fundamentals, intricate footwork, and developing rhythm and sound. Students learn basic steps, cramp rolls, time steps, wings, and pull backs in a fun and supportive environment.

Level 2 (Intermediate/Advanced)
For dancers with prior tap experience, this class introduces more advanced steps, combinations, and performance techniques. Students refine their timing, precision, and musicality while learning choreography that challenges their skill level.
